Performers

James Weaver, founder of the Smithsonian Chamber Music Society, performs and records on harpsichord, fortepiano, and organ, appearing as solo artist and chamber musician throughout the United States and Europe. Formerly the chair of the Division of Cultural History at NMAH, he is currently executive director of the National Music Museum and Performance Center, a project under development by the Federal City Council in association with the Smithsonian, The Library of Congress, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
